Final Research: Neil Leifer
Neil Leifer is an American photographer and filmmaker known mainly for his work in the Time magazine. He was born on the 28th of December 1942 in New York and is currently 73 years old. He worked at the New York Giants Stadim where he pushed Wheelchairs, which gained him free admission. He started to bring his camera into the stadium and his career as a sports photographer began. In his career he mainly worked for the magazines Sports Illustrated and the Time Magazine. In recent years he focused on movie making.His style is mainly consisting of photos taken at sport events. He mainly took photos during Football, Baseball, Basketball and Boxing events. Later in his career he did many different styled cover photos for the Time Magazine. His photos had a documentary- like style which caught a certain moment during an event and were meant to be used in sport magazines.
